Jon has an extensive background in music, having played double bass with the Boston Symphony Youth Orchestra, as well as 20+ years experience playing in popular music bands.
In 2010 Jon was ordained at Harmony Vineyard Church, where his passion for the Holy Spirit led him to run a local site for the Vineyard’s School of Kingdom Ministry. Michelle and Mark Blowers
Mark Blowers was born in Hanover County. He grew up in the church and had always referred to himself as a “Christian” but never truly started his relationship with Christ until he was a sophomore at VCU in 2011. A friend asked him a question that made him realize he had no idea what being a Christian meant, so he started reading a Bible to find out, and after a series of events, God called Mark out of his life of drugs and death and into a relationship with Him!
Mark started coming to Harmony Vineyard Church soon after and instantly got plugged in working with the kids. From there he felt called, along with his wife Michelle, to start up the Harvest Youth teen group and was ordained as the youth pastor in January of 2014. He also works full-time at the local Chick-fil-A in Ashland.
